Refund Policy
This policy explains how refunds, cancellations, and billing issues are handled for Cache company subscriptions. We built this policy to be fair, transparent, and easy to understand — if you're not happy with a charge, we want to make it right.

1. Our Approach to Refunds
We know hiring budgets are tight, and we know trust in a new platform has to be earned. Because of that, Cache offers one of the most lenient refund policies in recruiting software. If a company is unhappy with a charge for any reason, we will work with you to make it right — a full refund, a partial credit, or a plan change, whatever is fairest given your situation. We would much rather refund a payment than keep a customer who feels shortchanged.
2. Subscription Billing
Once your free trial ends, Cache subscriptions renew monthly based on the plan tier tied to your hiring activity on the platform. Payments are processed and verified through our payment provider, and paid access is activated once that payment is confirmed.
3. Cancellation
You can cancel your subscription at any time, for any reason, from your account settings, or by emailing support@cacheai.us from the email connected to your Cache account. There's no minimum commitment, no lock-in period, and no cancellation fee.
If you cancel mid-cycle, you're welcome to keep using your paid access through the rest of the current billing period — or, if you'd simply rather not, let us know and we'll refund the unused portion of that period instead. We'd rather give the money back than have you feel like you're paying for something you're not using.
5. Refund Eligibility
We review every refund request individually, and we lean toward approving them. Some common examples of when a refund applies:
- You were charged more than once for the same billing period.
- You were billed for a subscription tier that didn't match your actual hiring activity.
- Paid access wasn't activated correctly due to a Cache system issue.
- You simply feel the platform didn't deliver the value you expected.
- You forgot to cancel before renewal and didn't use the platform that period.
- Any other billing concern — if something feels wrong to you, tell us and we'll take a genuine look.
We don't enforce a strict deadline for requesting a refund. While we ask that you reach out as soon as you notice an issue, we will still consider requests submitted well after a payment date, especially for a company's first few billing cycles with Cache.
6. Our Commitment to Fairness
We would rather err on the side of refunding a company than make you fight for money that's rightfully yours. If you ever feel our team made a judgment call that wasn't fair to you, tell us — we will reconsider it. Our goal is for every company that works with Cache to feel like the billing relationship was straightforward, honest, and never a source of friction.
7. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, email support@cacheai.us from the email connected to your Cache account. Include:
- Your company name.
- Your Cache account email.
- The subscription plan or pilot fee in question.
- Payment date, if known.
- Payment reference or transaction ID, if available.
- A short explanation of what happened — we just want to understand and help.
We aim to respond to every refund request within 2 business days, and to resolve most requests within a week.
8. Refund Processing Time
Once a refund is approved, it's processed back to your original payment method. Depending on your bank or card issuer, it may take 5 to 10 business days to appear, though we process our end of it right away.
9. Failed, Halted, or Expired Subscriptions
If a payment fails or a subscription lapses, we won't cut off your access abruptly. We'll reach out first to sort out the billing issue together, and your account data and hiring pipeline will stay intact while we do.
10. No Automated Refund Dashboard, But a Real Person
Cache doesn't yet have an automated refund dashboard. Every refund is reviewed personally by our team, which means a real person is looking at your situation and trying to do right by your company — not a rigid, automated rule.
11. Policy Updates
We may update this Refund Policy as our subscription and billing process evolves. If we ever make this policy less generous, we'll make that change clearly visible here rather than adjusting it quietly. The latest version will always be available on this page.
